The WW2 Escape Lines Memorial Society [ELMS]
The WW2 Escape Lines Memorial Society is dedicated to the memory of the escapers, evaders and Helpers of WW2, who demonstrated courage, co-operation and humanity in the face of adversity, an example for the generations who follow them.

Since its inauguration, ELMS has:
- Established Annual Reunions for members and others, including international students from escape line areas and UK students and cadets.
- Erected memorials to the helpers and evaders at Eden Camp WW2 Museum and the National Memorial Arboretum
- Communicated with the membership via regular Newsletters
- Established an informative website and Face Book page
- Developed resources for use by educational establishments
- Developed a collaborative archive of research amongst members.
The Society undertakes commemorative Freedom Trails in France, Spain, The Basque Country, Italy, Slovenia and the Netherlands, in co-operation and liaison with other organisations
